ok..so here it goes:
BRUNEI EXCHANGE PROGRAMME (3rd to 9th June)
with SOASC [Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien College]=)
wait..here's just an intro-
Basically, i shared room with EmerZ. And i think i have finally gotten to know him in person (haha..ehem..his DARKEST secrets. Definitely NOT an innocent young boy any more)=) Yea!
Ok, now i will digress a little. As i am sibling-less, i often tend to treat some of my peers as brothers (sounds
despo of me though). Yupp..so my YANG-er brothers include: EmerZ, WeeB and Bryan. and Elder brothers..er.. include: SERY, WL, THinK, Wei Jie and Chin Boon[VSPB].
Now, back to topic. Ok. so yupp..before the trip, i was uber-excited about the trip :p Couldnt really sleep the night before lor..
Ok, so the next day, we emo-ed at the airport as we bid goodbye and blah. As we reached the airport in Brunei, we were treated like VIPs as we were welcomed by their school :3 As we proceeded on to check in at our hostel (SEAMEO VOCTECH- which roxzors), we had two traffic police escorting us throughout the whole journey O.o. [little did we knew that the two traffic police were going to escort us wherever we go XD - thanks guys!]
As mentioned above, I shared room with Emersius, who told me countless times to ''go see a shrink'' coz i literally got
HIGH and
OVER almost every night.. Haha :p
On that very day, i also got to know my buddy, Azeez (you rock :) ) and other Brunei-an frenz as the days moved on. Azeez, Andrew, Kim, Jeremy (fav prefect), Frederick and the others, WE MISS YOU GUYS >.<
Highlights of the trip:
1) Field trip to Bukit Beruang where we had to do a science project on the density and distribution of Tongkat Ali (i got specimens :p). Well, i was grouped with Vincent, Sean, Nadzuan and KIm.. and we spent the next fews days doing our presentation and data- analysis. ok, thx to Vincent's -cough- nonsense -cough- softwares and programmes (which constantly freakin pissed us at times), we emerged overall champion and
surprisingly the ICT award thingy.
2) Tea Breaks in between..YUM! I miss the -stomach rumbles- durian crepes, durian cakes and more durian kueh....
3) The Mall, Yayasan and Night market: Er, basically, the prices of the stuff sold in Brunei is about the same in Singapore. However, it's easier to bargain in Brunei..yupp =) Bought a new pair of shoes, a nice T-shirt and some wrist bands...BUT I REALLY MISS THE MALL X) Wish i could go there for the 3rd time
4) Royal Regalia and other museums in Brunei: Okay, just one word for the Royal Regalia -
ROYAL!! i tell you.. almost 80% of the artefacts there are either GOLD or GOLD-plated..its damn freakin NICE XD
5) Jungle Trekking at Bukit Shahbandar- Nothing really compared to the mountains climbed in VS LTC and Sec 3 Camp..YAY, our team (with Vincent again) came in first^.^ WOOTS..surprising again, right? LOL XD
6) Kampong Ayer Boat Ride - Relatively nice experience..and that reminds me of.. BRYAN!! HAHA xD.. (pls approch me for videos of 'Bryan Drives the Boat') DAMN funny=) Hopefully you can use your ability to
STEER VSCO TO GREATER HEIGHTS ;p
7) Always keep the best for the last: JERUDONG THEME PARK.
YAY :3 It was so Fun lor..esp. since this is my first time actually riding this type of amusement rides! Apparently when we reached the park in the night, we were the only group there...quite sad case la, as the clowns performed for only 2 audiences (the 2 traffic police), while the rest of us were enjoying ourselves at WATER LOG and BUMPER CARS :p

On the 9th of June, haiz..time to go back to Singapore. In Brunei, time FLIES (literally!). EMO-ed for the second time. Hope to see you buddies in Singapore next year and thanks for everything :D
