Blah...havent blog for days...and my tagboard is like so DEAD. (Died and always will be dead)

Tag, people.

The past week has been a roller-coaster of events for me, even though its like only a week more to the exams. All i see is ppl being stressed out, ppl pms-ing (no offence, linus..)..arghh! The cause of these: EXAMS. Cheer up, people.

Church-ed as usual. The youth fellowship message was good, topic on media attractions. Sparked out some new revelations within me....

Thanks Linus for teaching me how to answer the SS SEQ 13m question coz before that, i was really at a loss of how to answer SEQ part b question for SS. Now i guess i have a better grip le.

OH yes, and Linus, I willnot WILL keep your secret which you told me in church just now *ahem* Church *ahem* :p
Ok larz, i will keep it safe ok?

Right now, the subjects which i do not have that much confidence in are basically languages and humanities, coz they always pull down my L1R5. So i must really work hard for this last lap!! Esp. Languages! Regretted not starting earlier for humanities...Now must cramp in more info than ever...must cramp..must cramp...

And i just figured out how busy i will still be after exams...haiz. Life is so like a roller-coaster and i HAVE to keep going, or else i will just rot and die. Never mind, its good to be pro-active, yeah man!

*Thinks about Vivo-ing after exams*

Laugh!

Read this joke over the internet yesterday:

Recently, a guy in Paris got away with stealing several paintings from the Louvre. However, after planning the crime, getting in and out past security, he was captured only 2 blocks away when his Econoline (van) ran out of gas.

When asked how he could mastermind such a crime and then make such an obvious error, he replied:

"I had no Monet to buy Degas to make the Van Gogh."

Food for thought

After studying for Biology, what should you study next?

Answer: 3logy.

Study tips

When studying for a subject which is very heavy in content and there's lots to remember, always:

1. Read through once for a rough grasp for interest and understanding.
2. Cover the book/notes up, and write down what you can remember from what you have read.
3. Next, read through the second time, this time being very thorough, so that you grasp the concept fully.
4. Now, on a piece of A4 paper or foolscap, jot down the main points (paragraph it) in the topic (meaning: test how much you have memorized then write it down). Remember to answer the 5 Ws and 1 H in your mind for every topic.
5. Finally, after every topic/chapter, map out a mindmap to summarize concepts learnt, and also for quick revision before exams.

Good luck mugging! :)

Mai HUM!

Finally, the birthday bash was over! Yes, and thanks SO much for that hello kitty balloon. Haha, appreciated all your (CO gang) efforts =) Except the effort of dunking me into the pond, coz i escaped =p. YAY!

This is my official 1st 15-yr-old post!

ok, now besides the randomness, lets move on to more important stuff. Yes, that's right. The SA2s! 2 and a 1/2 weeks more only...to chiong for 1 whole year of stuff learnt (esp. the 3 sciences, and the terror humanities!) I think i should plan a timetable of what subs i should mug for on which day..hopefully that would help me cope better with all the hiong subjects.

And the planning for the year-end VSCO Overnite Camp 07 has kick-started....with a bang? Planning is underway and it's so much more efficient with the workload distributed amongst the 4 departments. Also beacuse there's a more focused and concised job scope for each dept. (i want to clarify the sectional lunch matter soon)

Just completed a whole load of AMaths homework for trigo which i owe my teacher for ages le.. from chapter 11 must do all the way to chapter 13. HEADACHE ah..

Going to sleep le. Zz..

Yes, after the 4 days 3 nights, I am finally back! …though tagboard seems quite dead =( I will promise to tag all of your blogs! So tag ah people! XD

First, I shall talk about the camp, yeah?
Fun.experience.reflection.punctuality
Personally, I felt that this camp benefits both groups of people. Yupp, both the members and the ExCo. I have begin to understand myself and I know my main weaknesses and strengths. I have never gone through anything like that before, this is the first time my true colours have shown. I will change and no longer let my weaknesses obstruct and hinder me from my performance. I also hope that all 12 who went for it had a great time, both fun but also taking it as a retreat for them to ponder over their actions.
Reflect, and you will see the greater inner self within you.
Change, if you have to.
Share, to let others help you along as you change and be a better person.

The highlight of the camp was the mass games I would say. . because the games help all of them to learn something which cannot be taught verbally. Also, the games would help them to learn concepts which they have not grasp hold of. Though I would agree that more effort can be put into the planning, I personally felt that it was somewhat a success as all of them have benefited through it.
Hope you guys would put what you have learnt into practice, ok?

Despite all this, I would just like to say a few words regarding VSCO. I have realized myself what I am made up of, and I have began to understand the rest of my committee better. I may not necessarily be the chairperson with the greatest influence, neither am I the chairperson with the greatest efficiency. But I greatly want to be someone who will engage and inspire all of you out there. I would want to motivate all of you, and as far as my term serving as a chairperson is concern, I am determined to inspire all of you out there to give VSCO a better future, I want to accomplish my mission and vision during my term of service. Remember, my purpose doing all these is not for myself, neither is it for the committee, but rather for the very future of VSCO I am doing this, by inspiring all of you towards my desired mission and vision. And I have confidence going about doing this and accomplishing my task, and I would like all of you to have the same confidence and trust in me. I believe it can be done, but it requires all of your cooperation too. Remember, a successful CCA is not successful because of its leaders only, but also everyone else. In order to see fruits of success in the future batches, we have to start now, and it will be successful only if leaders in the CCA inspire a shared vision in the members, and all of us work together up the ladder of achievement, and in the end, we will enjoy the fruits of our labour. Right here, right now, I believe that we can all make VSCO a better place for everybody together with my committee and me. Let’s do it!

And never be afraid to walk this path with me, coz I’ll be there when the world stops turning, I’ll be there when the storm is through. And I wanna will be standing at the beginning with you!

Alright, now about yesterday. There was no dazu so we decided to call back THE 12 for a final debriefing. The purpose for a mirror session was to let them reflect on themselves (character and stuff) whilst at the same time, letting them know individually what others think about them. We ended the session with a final presentation and congratulations to our 2 facilitators! Work hard ok ?but don’t be over-contented with your post. And to the other 10 of you, jiayou too! Lots of opportunities for you all to show your wonderful capabilities to us  And lunch yesterday with the 2 facilitators, together with Alphonsus, Linus and Wen Jun was totally fun! I miss that lunch man!

Now lets go back in time! Lets see what are the most memorable stuff I leant from last Friday’s Night Safari trip…Hmm…

1. The commentator for the animal show was a natural joker lolz!
2. The sea otters (apparently the smallest in the world) are freakin cute lor! :3 They were like ‘ Squeak! Squeak! I want my food mommy!’… Yes..go on squeaking in the middle of the night darlings….
3. I found out that if you walk alone in Night Safari, it will definitely freak you out like shit! Its like there’s no one around, totally dark and you hear sounds….
4. I reached home at 130am..DEADBEAT.

Today at church for like almost the whole day man..Soccer was fun  Everyone was like zham-ming the ball and it was flying everywhere like some ball being thrown around 360 degrees. Haha, had dinner then went back le.

Long awaited pictures! Here they are:

Cousin and I 
